Argodiode Battery Isolators

The Argodiode Battery Isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries from a single alternator while keeping the batteries electrically isolated. This prevents one battery from discharging into another, ensuring reliable operation and extended battery life.

Key Features:

• Efficient charging with minimal voltage drop using Schottky diodes (approx. 0.3 V at low current, 0.45 V at rated output).
• Includes a compensation diode to adjust alternator output voltage to offset voltage drop across the isolator.
• Prevents reverse current flow, protecting the alternator and batteries.
• Alternator energise input ensures alternators requiring DC voltage on B+ start charging correctly.
