The Fogstar GEN2-LB-EU 3.6K is a 3.6kW single-phase hybrid inverter for residential solar PV and battery storage systems, combining dual MPPT solar inputs, 48V battery compatibility and on-grid or off-grid operation in one compact unit. Hybrid Solar and Battery Storage
The GEN2-LB-EU 3.6K combines solar generation, battery storage and grid connection within a single hybrid inverter. Its 48V battery architecture is configured for integration with Fogstar 51.2V battery systems, allowing surplus solar energy generated during the day to be stored for use when household demand increases or solar production falls.
The inverter can also charge batteries from the grid, making it suitable for homes using off-peak and time-of-use electricity tariffs. Energy can be stored during lower-cost periods and used when grid electricity is more expensive, helping to reduce peak-rate imports and make better use of the battery system.
High-Capacity Dual MPPT Solar Input
Two independent MPPT trackers provide greater flexibility when configuring a residential solar array. Each MPPT supports up to 18A input current and operates across a 150-425V MPPT voltage range, with a maximum PV input voltage of 530V.
With support for up to 7,000W of connected PV capacity, the inverter can accommodate substantial solar generation relative to its 3.6kW AC output. MPPT efficiency of up to 99.9% helps maximise the energy harvested from the solar array as generation conditions change throughout the day.
