GivEnergy All-in-One Gateway – Whole House Backup & Grid Services Integration

The GivEnergy All-in-One Gateway is a crucial component that enables full whole-house backup functionality when paired with the GivEnergy All-in-One energy storage system. In the event of a grid failure, the Giv-Gateway ensures seamless switchover between battery power and grid supply in as little as 20 milliseconds – maintaining an uninterrupted power supply to critical household loads.

Beyond backup, the Gateway also enables your solar PV system to remain operational off-grid, allowing you to continue generating and using renewable energy even during power outages. It integrates directly with the inverter and battery system to provide full smart energy control and backup support.

Equipped with a pre-installed EM115 meter, the Gateway simplifies installation by reducing the number of individual components and speeding up commissioning. It also features built-in LoRa (Long Range Radio) technology, allowing for wireless communication between the grid meter and inverter, especially useful for installations where running cables is difficult or undesirable.

The Giv-Gateway also prepares your energy system for grid service participation, unlocking potential savings or earnings by allowing energy suppliers or aggregators to control usage during peak demand in exchange for incentives.
