At Off Grid Renewables, we understand that occasionally, you may need to return an item. Please read our returns policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations when returning products.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may return products purchased from Off Grid Renewables LTD within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The goods must be in a new, unused, and resalable condition.
- The products must be returned in their original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.
- The original proof of purchase must be provided.
2. Re-stocking Fee
All returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount. The re-stocking fee covers the cost of inspecting and processing the returned goods.
3. Non-refundable Delivery Costs
Please note that the original delivery cost is non-refundable. Additionally, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Off Grid Renewables. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of high value.
4. Conditions for Return
Returns will only be accepted if:
- The goods are returned within the 14-day cancellation period.
- The goods are in a new, unused, and resalable condition. Items that show signs of use, damage, or wear will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
5. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If the product you received is faulty or damaged, please contact our customer service team at hello@offgridrenewables.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including delivery costs, where applicable.
6. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at hello@offgridrenewables.co.uk with your order number, details of the product you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Receive Return Authorisation: Once your return is approved, you will receive a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and instructions on how to return the product.
- Ship the Product: Pack the product securely in its original packaging and include the Return Authorisation Number. Ship the product to the address provided by our customer service team.
- Refund: Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will process your refund minus the 20% re-stocking fee. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.
7. Exemptions
The following items are exempt from being returned:
- Custom-made or personalized products.
- Perishable goods.
- Items that have been installed or used.
